Aiding underprivileged children in India and the U.S. through the power of music

Swaravedika members, in collaboration with the Hindu Temple of Minnesota's outreach program, raised funds in various cities across USA during the summer of 2016 through music concerts. With these funds, two of our members, Priya Kanajam and Aditi Bhavaraju, held Swaravedika's first organized service project. Together, they collected uniforms, school supplies, water barrels, and other necessities and distributed them to 250 schoolchildren in 13 schools around Araku Valley and Visakapatnam in India.
