July 28th, 2018 - San Jose(CA)

Swaravedika held its revolutionary Telugu Vaggeya Vaibhavam Carnatic Concert in San Jose, California. The event was aimed at preserving the beautiful music of Telugu Carnatic composers from all eras. The concert, which was attended by over 300 people, featured both a Maha Brinda Gaanam and a segment featuring Swaravedika singers. We would like to extend a special thanks to Sri Vyzarsu Balasubraniam for his musical guidance.

 

 

JANUARY 13 2018 - Kansas City

We held our first event of 2018 in Kansas City, Missouri, on January 13, from 5 p.m. onwards to continue to fundraise for Swaravedika. The event took place at the Bell Cultural Center. Seven members of Swaravedika came to the Missouri/Kansas area to perform for 380 people. 

DECEMBER 24 2017 - Irving(TX)

We held our last concert of the year on December

24, 2017 to continue spreading the cause of Swaravedika. The concert was held at Ekta

Mandir Hindu Temple in Irving, Texas.

DECEMBER 23 2017 - Houston(TX)

We held our second full concert in Houston, Texas, to aid our main cause of supporting children's' education. 

We held our last concert of the year on December

24, 2017 to continue spreading the cause of Swaravedika. The concert was held at Ekta

Mandir Hindu Temple in Irving, Texas.

AUGUST 12TH 2017 - Green Brook(NJ)

We held our first complete performance at Greenbrook, New Jersey with a turnout of 400 people.

Swaravedika and NATS are bringing a musical concert to St. Louis on June 29th. Entry including dinner will be free! Join us for a night of great music, fun, and food! Donations are graciously accepted and all proceeds will be used to help children at NAVEENA (Mentally challenged rehabilitation society). DECEMBER 15TH 2016

Swaravedika was a co-sponsor of an event called "Naada Neerajanam: a tribute to Dr.Sri Balamurali Krishna",

JULY 13TH AND 24TH 2016

Swaravedika hosted a Carnatic music workshop in which

renowned Guru, musician and musicologist Dr. Vyzarsu Balasubrahmanyam taught attendees carnatic music techniques, lessons and the theory of music. These were held in both Portland, OR and Bay Area, CA respectively.

JULY 23RD 2016

Swaravedika hosted a Carnatic music competition called

Swaranjali. This event was hosted by Dr.Vyzarsu Balasubrahmanyam as well as his students.

JULY 2ND 2016

Swaravedika team presented a Medley of Sri SP Balasubrahmanyam's Songs as a tribute to Balu garu's Musical journey of 50 years.
